JOSEPH STAUFFER

Mr. Stauffer has over 22 years of trial experience, in criminal defense and civil litigation. Mr. Stauffer grew up in Cumming Georgia and graduate from Forsyth County High School in 1981. He attended Young Harris College and Graduated from Piedmont College in Demorest, Georgia. Mr. Stauffer earned his Masters of Public Administration from Roosevelt University and his Juris Doctorate from The John Marshall Law School UIC in Chicago, Illinois.

Mr. Stauffer’s first job out of law school was as a staff attorney with SBA Network Systems, a builder and owner of cellular communications towers in the United States and Internationally. Mr. Stauffer was promoted to In-House Counsel and Southeastern Regional Zoning Manager.

After leaving SBA, Mr. Stauffer went into private practice representing corporate and individual clients in civil and criminal court. Mr. Stauffer has represented hundreds of clients in criminal defense matters and is very familiar with all courts in Forsyth County and North Georgia generally. In 2018 Mr. Stauffer was voted the Best Criminal Defense Attorney in Dawson County by the Dawson County News.

THERESA BRUNSON

Theresa began her career in Interior Design in 1993 with Keystone Design Group, an architectural firm located in Lansing, Michigan. In 1998, she and her husband were blessed with the birth of their first child, at which point, she retired from the firm and the family moved to Suwanee, Georgia. After the birth of their second
child in 2003, she went into the field of private school education as a teacher until 2015. She then worked as a contract photographer until 2018. She currently is a Paralegal with the law firm of Joseph Stauffer. Her responsibilities include, but are not limited to, law office support, legal research, client relations, records management, State and Federal E-Filing procedures, calendaring and scheduling, and accounts payable and receivable.

Theresa is a graduate of Ringling College where she received a Bachelor of Fine
Arts Degree in Interior Design and Space Planning.
